Dr. Joshua M. Brown
... is a licensed psychologist in the state of Nebraska. He received his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Master of Science degrees in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas, and Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Metropolitan State College of Denver. He spent most of his career prior to opening Common Threads Therapy, LLC as a Staff Psychologist for the Department of Veterans Affairs. He is also an adjunct professor for the Department of Psychology at Creighton University and a U.S. military Veteran.
Through Dr. Brown's doctoral training and studies, he learned many different therapeutic techniques and theoretical backgrounds. He believes each person has unique differences so therapeutic interventions are individualized.
Dr. Brown's clinical focus is counseling individual adults and couples in the following areas:​
Relationship issues (new, strained, separation, divorce, parenting)
Depression and anxiety related concerns
Adjustment disorders and life transitions,

Dr. Rebecca Henning
... is a licensed psychologist in the state of Nebraska. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology and Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology degrees from West Virginia University. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with distinction, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Honors Program.
Following completion of a clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship with the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, Dr. Henning worked as a staff psychologist for the Department of Veterans Affairs. She has published professionally in the areas of health psychology, multicultural psychology, and clinical geropsychology.
Dr. Henning has training in a variety of therapeutic approaches and therapy interventions are tailored to account for individual differences and client needs.
